Children as Leaders
At Christ Church, we recognise that our children are the leaders of the future and therefore provide a range of opportunities for children to develop their leadership skills.
Some of our children’s leadership positions require election by their peers, others require children to apply for posts by writing a letter, giving a presentation and/or being interviewed by school leaders. We give the children a voice through different forums facilitated by school staff.
The children’s leadership groups include:
Children’s Leadership Team (CLT) led by Mrs Dolphin.
This is formed from representatives from the different groups listed below.
Head and deputy girls and boys.
Environmental Ambassadors led by Miss Cowell (KS1) Miss Philips (KS2)
Year 5 Ethos Group led by Miss Shahi
KS2 Sports Ambassador led by Miss Cooper
KS2 Reading Ambassadors led by Mrs Parrington
KS2 Art Ambassadors led by Mrs Sheen
KS2 Language Ambassadors led by Mrs Lakin
Pupil voice is valued and promoted each academic year. We encourage all of our pupils to embrace the wide range of opportunities available to them and always seek to find new ways that we can further empower our pupils. This enables our pupils to develop as individuals, as a community and grow the school as a whole.
Every year we analyse the school's performance and our pupil's feedback forms a crucial part of this. Below you can download the summary of our pupil's views and opinions.
