Extra Curricular Clubs

At Christ Church we believe that learning should be fun and memorable.

“Tell me and I forget, Show me and I remember, Involve me and I
understand” (Confucius)

As such we aim to provide as many Enrichment activities as possible, including visiting workshops, class visits, practical tasks and exciting activities in order to give our children new experiences, extend their learning and consolidate their understanding. We also offer a wide range of extra-curricular clubs for the children to enjoy across the academic year. These include, but are not limited to, sports, games, art and craft and singing.

We offer a range of clubs after school and during lunchtimes. These clubs offer the children valuable enrichments to their learning journey outside of the classroom.

Clubs can help children improve their social skills, develop their interests and inspire them to try new things. They're also a good way for a child who struggles in school to learn in a fun, low-stress environment.

The cost of providing these clubs can vary. The school will charge parents via ParentPay for their child attending; this will be outlined on the initial letter to parents inviting their child to take part and confirmation of a place being offered. The charges of will not exceed the actual cost of providing the optional extra and will not subsidise children whose parents can't/ won't pay.
